The results of forecasts based on the INM RAS Earth system model are analyzed: seasonal forecasts of sea surface temperature and sea ice characteristics, ultra-long-term forecasts of meteorological characteristics of Russian river basins. Calculations of neutrally-stratified turbulent flows over idealized urban surfaces are carried out using a Large-Eddy Simulation (LES) model. Based on the ERA5 reanalysis, the characteristics of freezing precipitation in European Russia are studied, and soil moisture parameters are estimated from the observations at 10 Roshydromet stations in 2011–2023. An algorithm is proposed for correcting the observation data on the surface temperature of Russian water bodies when constructing initial data fields in the SLAV10 model. Artificial learning algorithms are used in the paper dealing with the development of a method for long-range forecasting of maximum water levels of the Iset’ River and in the paper on the assessment of long-term changes in the hydrological regime of the raised bog. An overview of the outcomes of the 27th session of the North Eurasian Climate Outlook Forum (NEACOF-27) and the workshop under the auspices of
UN ESCAP is presented.
