The features of the Northern Hemisphere large-scale atmospheric circulation in the winter of 2020/2021 are analyzed. According to METAR observations at 26 international airdromes during 2001-2020, episodes of dust storms in the Asian part of Russia are studied. The results of the object-oriented verification of precipitation forecasts for the Central Federal District of Russia using the COSMO-Ru2 model for May-September in 2016-2020 are presented. The arrivals of southern cyclones to the territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 1993-2018. The hydrological section describes an automated system that, based on the hydrograph extrapolation method, allows predicting the characteristics of the flow of Russian rivers with a lead time of 1 to 10 days. The comparison of snow cover characteristics according to weather station data and ERA 5-Land reanalysis is performed for the territory of the Perm region. The agrometeorological section presents the results of grain crop yield forecasting based on the integration of ground and satellite data in the subjects of the Southern Federal District of Russia. The long-term variations in air temperature and precipitation in Transbaikalia are analyzed in the Information section.
